Swipe Clean ("the App", "we", "us", "our") is a gallery management tool developed by
Mojito Apps. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding
that information. By using the App you agree to this policy.
🔒 Every photo analysis runs entirely on your device. Your photos, videos,
and personal media are never uploaded, transmitted, or shared with us or any
third party.
📦 Information We Collect
We collect the absolute minimum required to run the App:

Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) Token — a device token generated by
Google Firebase used solely to deliver push notifications (e.g., daily reminders). This
token is anonymous and does not identify you personally.

App usage data (crash reports, if enabled) — anonymous crash logs
generated by Firebase Crashlytics to help us fix bugs. This contains no personal data or
photo content.
We do not collect:
- Your name, email address, or any account information
- Photos, videos, or any media files
- Device location
- Advertising identifiers
- Any personally identifiable information (PII)
⚙️ How We Use Your Information
- Push notifications — your FCM token is used only to send you
streak reminders and tips. You can disable notifications at any time in your device Settings.
- Crash reporting — anonymous crash data helps us identify and fix
bugs to improve app stability.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the App.
📱 On-Device Photo Processing
All photo analysis (duplicate detection via dHash fingerprinting, blur detection via
Laplacian variance) runs locally on your device using Android's MediaStore API.
- No photo or video content is ever sent to our servers or any cloud service
- Analysis results are cached in a local CSV file on your device only
- Deleting photos uses Android's standard system API — we never bypass OS security
🔗 Third-Party Services
The App integrates the following Google services which have their own privacy policies:
The App is distributed via the Google Play Store, which has its own
data collection practices governed by
Google's Privacy Policy.
💾 Data Storage & Retention
- App preferences (streak, XP, settings) are stored locally on your device in
Android SharedPreferences and are cleared when you uninstall the App.
- FCM tokens are managed by Google Firebase and are automatically refreshed or
revoked when you uninstall the App.
- We do not maintain any user database or server-side storage of personal data.
👶 Children's Privacy
Swipe Clean is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect
personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal
data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
⚖️ Your Rights
Since we collect no personally identifiable information, there is no personal data profile to access,
correct, or delete. However, you can:
- Disable push notifications via your device's notification settings
- Clear all App data via Settings → Apps → Swipe Clean → Clear Data
- Uninstall the App at any time to remove all locally stored data
If you are an EEA/UK resident and have concerns about data processed by Google Firebase,
you may contact Google directly or file a complaint with your local data protection authority.
📝 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the
"Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes
constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
